In July of 2007 Nancy and one of her daughters traveled to Asia to handpick Purselove's first large order of purses - Purselove was in full bloom! Since that first trip, Purselove has expanded into additional varieties of these unique beaded bags, to include leather bags, travel bags, cell phone purses, purse organizers, passport carriers, bejweled belts, leather belts, silk scarves, cashmere pashminas, jewelry, hair accessories, purse organizers, wallets, and more. Purselove has also expanded their markets in the world.
Nancy, with the assistance of her daughters, shops global world markets and bazaars for unique and one-of-kind merchandise. Items are from all over the world: Hong Kong, China, Mexico, Europe, Taiwan, Thailand, and Guatemala. In 2010 she expanded to shopping in Chicago and New York, while 2011 has added Los Angeles markets and designers for merchandise finds. 2012 is adding products from U.S. designers and "Made in USA" products.
Most Purselove products are sold locally at boutique events, style shows, private parties, trunk shows and charity events; however, Nancy also wholesales local and national boutiques. In 2010 LUCKY Magazine, an international accessories and style magazine, contacted PurseLove for a sample of one of our bohemian purses and ultimately selected the Purselove purse for the Fall 2010 Handbag guide. It was presented in the October 2010 issue as one of four winning favorite pouch style bags of the year (see Item #054).
